The Shali Tibba (3208m) is one of the highest peak in the vicinity of Shimla. It is a magnificent isolated pinnacle with a Kali temple on the top. The ascent up to Shali is an ancient trail through dense pine forest and rolling alpine pastures. It is a steep and steady climb to the often mist enveloped peak. The peak commands an unforgettable view of endless snow covered ranges along with the Sutlej valley and the densely forested hills of Shimla, Fagu and Narkanda. For an avid photographer and nature lover, this trek offers the experience of a lifetime.

( March To December )

Day 1: Shimla – Mashobra – Koti Dhar average altitude (2250 Meters).

Morning after breakfast departs Shimla at 9 A.M. by jeep. Reach Mashobra 14 KM, later drive towards Koti Dhar 04 KM , starting point of the trek, walk through the small Himalayan villages on trails 04 - 05 hours walk to Deothi village & temple, later walk toward campsite Sipur thick pine forest and nearby to it is about 500 yrs old Shiva temple (Sipur). Evening bonfire and dinner overnight in Tents.

Day 2: Sipur – Thaila – Khatnol 15 Km. (1700 Meter)

After breakfast descend into woods and after walking for 2 km you are in a Continue descending down through villages to the stream of Thaila, a sharp descend for 04 KM will lead us to the base Camp for Shali Peak reach Khatnol over night in tents.

Day 3: Khatnol – Shali - Khatnol 14 Km. (3208 Meters)

Start early in the morning towards Shali Peak . Reach Shali for the lunch enjoy a splendid view of the Lesser Himalayas; later walk back towards Khatnol base camp, over night in tents.

Day 4 : Khatnol – Tatapani – Shimla 65 Km

After breakfast drive towards Tatapani ( Hot Sulfur springs ) 680 Meters on the banks of River Satluej which flows from Tibet into India, one can enjoy soaking feet in the Hot water sulfur on the banks of the River Sutlej later Walk to Shiva caves, 1 hour walk each way to Shiva caves, a fresh water stream flows near the caves, swimming is allowed in the stream. Evening drive back to Shimla 50 Km 03 hours drive.
